Product and Technology Development
Northeast Renewable Energy Group will develop a series of hybrid renewable energy systems designed to harvest wave/wind and wave/wind/solar energy simultaneously, and synergistically.
The Company believes that it’s Ocean Energy Systems will represent significantly differentiated product developments in the emerging Hybrid Renewable Energy device, and OES segments.
NEREG will also design a series of low cost, low maintenance integrated wind/solar and wind/solar/micro hydro systems that will both generate electricity and pump and purify water.

NEREG XW Series - Hybrid Ocean/Wind Energy Systems The NEREG XW series will be developed, prototyped and tested initially for small generation capacity, (3 kW to 25 kW), and then scaled to mid range capacity (50 kW to 300 kW), to provide remote energy for lighting, exploration, monitoring, security and communications in scientific and industrial marine applications. The company hopes to ramp the XW Series Hybrid Generators capacity up to functional utility scale arrays, (500 kW to 3.0 Mega Watt), by 2012. NEREG SXW Series - Hybrid Solar/Ocean/Wind Energy Systems NEREG SXW Series Barge Mounted Hybrid Solar/Ocean/Wind Systems will initially be in used in scientific and industrial marine applications including providing power for undersea exploration, environmental monitoring, and large scale aquaculture. Thereafter the systems will also be scaled to utility capacity, and will deliver power to the grid through land based transformers.
The NEREG SXW Series Hybrid Systems will initially be developed, prototyped and tested for mid scale generation capacity, (250 kW to 500 kW), and will be designed to be used in scalable arrays. By 2012 NEREG hopes to scale its SXW Series Hybrid OES mobile platforms to considerably higher (1.5 – 3.0 MW) capacities.
NEREG XW and SXW Series devices will feature easily maintainable, eco-friendly mooring or platform systems, and are designed to be deployable in scalable Synergistic Arrays both in-shore and off shore. The Company anticipates that its Hybrid Ocean Energy Systems will be used in stand alone and arrayed Moored Buoy formats and in stand alone and arrayed Moored, Towed and Self Powered Marine Platform Formats.
NEREG SX Series - Hybrid Solar/Wind Energy Systems NEREG SX Series Hybrid Solar/Wind Systems will generate electrical power for small scale stand alone off grid applications including illuminating remote streets and parking lots, pumping water, and charging portable illumination and communications devices.
The company will also design and develop its SXP series of integrated Solar/Wind, Solar/Micro Hydro, Wind/Micro Hydro and Solar/Wind /Micro Hydro systems that will generate electricity, as well as pump and purify water.
NEREG SX Series Hybrid Solar/Wind Systems are designed to be easily transported to and assembled at remote sites. These systems require minimal maintenance and should be equally well suited for use illuminating rural roads and parking areas in North America, as it is to bringing electrical power, and clean water, (and the educational, heath and enterprise opportunities that this can afford), to remote villages and communities in the Americas, Africa, and Asia.

GREEN
SP and GREEN SP Hybrid Systems
Northeast
Renewable Energy Group, LLC is developing a series of low
cost, low maintenance, integrated systems, which are designed to convert solar
and wind energy to produce electricity, as well as pump and purify water. The GREEN SP Series will be the first of a suite of hybrid solar, wind, and water energy conversion systems that NEREG expects to develop, all designed to provide electrical power for off-grid applications in remote sites around the globe, including:
q Remote
or Mobile Scientific/Research Facilities q Marine
Scientific/Research Facilities q Off
Shore Aquaculture Facilities q Remote
or Mobile Camps and Compounds q Remote
or Mobile Heathcare Facilities q Remote
Rural Villages in North America and in Developing Nations
Northeast Renewable
Energy Group’s GREEN SP and GREEN SP Hybrid Systems will feature highly
reliable components including a Solar PV Array, an optional Tracking System, an
optional Wnd Turbine, Control/Monitoring Instruments, and Battery Storage, along
with both Water Pumping and Water Purification Modules, in an integrated unit.
GREEN SP and GREEN SP Hybrid Systems are designed to be easily deployed and
operated in harsh remote environments, with minimal maintenance.
